In this episode Ava and Najee share their unique self-love journeys. What they know for sure is that self-love is a necessity, preferably in ample quantities, to keep them moving along their life paths. Ava reflects on the life-coaching program and relationship break-up that drew her attention and focus to her own self-love, what she does to increase her level of self-love, and how the practice is integrated into her daily lifestyle and career today. Najee reflects on the life events and situations that have impacted his self-love journey, along with his desires to focus on discipline and consistency to increase his self-love moving forward. The co-hosts absolutely LOVE the concept of building a self-love toolbox that they can reach for when self-love levels undoubtedly ebb and flow. From a simple question like the self-love score check-in, to affirmations, crystals, and more - they have no shortage of ideas. Kind, gentle, and loving are descriptors that Ava and Najee apply to both people and crystals before concluding that self-love is not a buzzword, it's a lifestyle. Are you in?

Ava and Najee welcome Professional Astrologer, writer, and artist KJ Atlas to the podcast to talk all about Locational Astrology. Astrology is the language of nature and KJ has made it her mission to decode its complexities into something useful, meaningful, and practical. As a seasoned nomad and travel enthusiast, she is an expert in locational astrology, which is this episode’s topic of focus. KJ joins Ava and Najee to break down what Locational Astrology is and how you can use it as a tool to support your travels, moves, and daily life on the journey of becoming more you. KJ shares examples of how locational astrology has impacted her experience living in Mexico and finding a new home in LA, and Ava shares how she applied locational astrology information during her time in London. Next, KJ takes a look at Ava and Najee’s locational astrology charts to identify three iconic locations around the world that would make for great MORE podcast travel reviews. Tune in to hear where the co-hosts may be heading in 2023! Spoiler alert: West Coast vibes are coming in hot. Then, KJ explains what it’s like to have synesthesia, and how she uses it to take chart readings to the next level by “feeling” your chart and energy as a variety of colors that she then turns into custom art. UMM?! YES, PLEASE. This episode is the ultimate reminder that life is a trip.

This week Ava and Najee explore a classic millennial musing: work-life balance. What does work-life balance look like? Does it even exist? How can it be achieved? The co-hosts offer two different perspectives on work-life balance as a 9-5 employee and as an entrepreneur. Working from home and working from anywhere add additional intricacies and blurred boundaries. What they do know for certain is that work and life look different now than they did ten years ago. Technology and decentralization of work provides more opportunity to reimagine work and create the life you desire, which they love. Whether you are team Live to Work or team Work to Live, it’s important to create some level of work-life balance by implementing boundaries that feel good to you so you can live your best life.

Birthdays are officially a big deal around here because there’s no better way to acknowledge those you love than by celebrating their existence. Today we celebrate Najee, the Virgo in this Virquarius duo. In honor of Najee’s birthday, he’s sharing three major life experiences that anchored his year and the lessons learned. “Self-discovery” was the overarching theme of Najee’s 31st year on Earth - and you better believe he’s still making it happen, captain. He started off by learning to find beauty in things that don’t work out when he started the process of buying a home in DC only to have the universe say ‘not now’. Travel was another defining experience for the year, from a defining mishap in Miami to discovering a brand new approach to international travel in Switzerland. Forget country hopping, we’re city hopping now. And while starting a podcast was not on Najee’s 2022 vision board, it did round out his top 3 most memorable experiences of the year, aww. Ava and Najee conclude the episode with the rich-bixch experiences that Najee plans to manifest during his next spin around the sun, and of course their weekly love it or leave it rant. Happy Birthday Najee!

Ava and Najee’s travels take them to the historic town of Bath in the English countryside to renew themselves in the majestic, healing waters of this ancient city like any rich-bixch would. Getting there involved a two-hour train ride from London which was easier said than done as the pair encountered some major transit delays. Upon arrival, they were definitely ready for a boujee wellness spa experience which brought them to the Roman Baths and a day-spa with a rooftop pool. From fish and chips to oysters and champagne, the co-hosts were able to find some food highlights in an otherwise non-foodie town. Ava took one for the team during a gin distillery jaunt and Najee took one for the team on a Bridgerton walking tour, so they’re even. They topped off their time in the region with an Instagram to reality excursion to the prettiest town in England; Castle Combe, a transportation rescue, and an (un)lucky run-in with nature that left them cackling and crying. Tune in to get the tea.

Ava and Najee don’t love conflict but they do love managing conflict in healthy ways. In this episode the co-hosts reflect on early childhood experiences that shaped their current styles of conflict management. They share what they’ve learned from instances of unhealthy and healthy ways of handling conflict and can confirm that getting called out in a House Party family chat, and being on the receiving end of a multi-year grudge-list AREN’T IT. Rather, Ava prefers to lead with honesty and Najee prefers to lead with love. Both options sound pretty good to us. At the end of the day, it’s important to recognize that as much as you may try to avoid conflict, it’s inevitable and it’s a disservice to yourself and others to not address it. Use your voice, speak your truth, and bring honesty and love to your interpersonal relationships. When your heart is in the right place you can’t lose.

In this episode Ava and Najee are talking love languages, the five love languages to be exact, which is another helpful tool to know yourself because news flash: not everyone gives and receives love in the same way. The co-hosts go over each love language: words of affirmation, quality time, physical touch, acts of service and receiving gifts, share their top love languages, and discuss how they impact day to day life. Najee would like you to do things for him, and tell him how great he is, and Ava would like an ample amount of your undivided attention and hugs. Can you guess their love languages? Neither one of them are very impressed with gifts alone, but gifts on top of the aforementioned gestures are gladly accepted. They give examples of the importance of knowing your love language, sharing it with others, and then being a top tier human by making an effort to express love in someone else’s language of choice. While this may seem simple (or hard, depending on who you are), it is truly a game changer when it comes to strengthening the relationships in your life.

This week Ava and Najee welcome Kelsey Erickson, their first-ever guest, to the pod to talk Human Design. Kelsey is the founder of Everme + Co, an Intuitive Life Coach, and a Human Design expert. In this episode Kelsey explains Human Design, a tool to help you understand who you were before the world told you who you should be, and how to approach your unique human design chart to master your energy. She gives an overview of the five Human Design types: Generator, Manifesting Generator, Manifestor, Projector and Reflector, and the signature strengths of each. We learn that as a Projector, Ava has the energy to work four hours per day (it’s giving 4-hour work week) and as a Manifestor, Najee has a very concentrated and pointy aura (it’s not personal). Then they dive into a joint synastry reading, looking at Ava and Najee’s HD charts to identify synergies and opportunities for the MORE podcast which leaves the co-hosts speechless. In other words, IT TRACKS.

Ava and Najee give their best high-level travel review of a few days spent in London’s trendy Shoreditch neighborhood; the epicenter of hipsters, vintage shops, coffee on every corner, and a multitude of restaurants at your doorstep. Coincidentally, these queens of justifying purchases both bought bulky sweaters on their shopping adventures despite being steeped in peak summer heat - or are they ‘jumpers’? As travelers, they had to partake in at least one cringey tourist attraction, in this case the London Eye, which delivered very Instagrammable views of the city. A stroll through central London provided amazing scents at the Hyde Park Rose Garden, an unusual amount of American Candy Stores (wtf?) and a delicious lunch at BAO in Soho. They topped the trip off with a visit down to Brixton to learn about Black British history.
