Victoria Milligan, lost her husband Nicko, an executive at Sky, and Emily, 8, when they were thrown from their speedboat doing a sharp turn off Padstow during a sunny bank holiday weekend in May 2013. The empty boat, stuck going in circles, struck them.

Victoria lost her left leg while her three surviving children - Kit, then 4, Olivia, 10, and Amber, 12 - were also injured by the engine's propeller.

Ever since the tragedy, Victoria has been a tireless charity fundraiser. Over the years she has raised more than £1 million for good causes including £500,000 for the Cornwall Air Ambulance.
