Y’all know I’m a firm believer that ChatGPT is the future. Love it or hate it, AI is here to stay and it’s going to revolutionize how we do a lot of things. One of the biggest criticisms I hear for ChatGPT and other AI services is the impact it’ll make on education, specifically with regards to how the next generations will learn to communicate. If we have a service that can write essays for us, why would anyone learn to communicate their ideas, right? 

That’s why I brought on real-life Professor of Writing Studies, Susan Miller. I asked Susan to give us her take on the AI revolution, the communication issues that people are facing today, and how she sees the integration of technology into our lives as we move into the “future.” Spoiler alert: there is no doom and gloom.
