So excited for y’all to hear this double-dip episode with one of my favorite people ever, Dr. Danny Matta. This was originally a catch-up episode for his show, the PT Entrepreneur Podcast, but we had such a great time that I had to share here, too.
In this episode, we’re diving into the challenges that many physical therapists face when they want to transition away from direct patient care and explore other areas of the profession. We touch on the physical and mental demands that often lead to burnout, and how reimbursement rates often don’t match the value of care provided. Even so, y’all know I’m against making hasty decisions (don’t burn the ships!) and we always encourage PTs to identify the specific aspects they dislike about their current role or workplace before making any drastic changes. Oftentimes, even the smallest changes can have the biggest impact on any situation.
Let’s chat.
Welcome to Maestro on the Mic, a podcast that helps online business owners find their passion, generate more profit, and build a life that they love. I'm your host, Dr. Shanté Cofield, aka The Movement Maestro, and I’m stoked to have you here. I hope this podcast inspires you to make moves and do the thing. Action is the answer.
