Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of Luke 18:43 which says "Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus, praising God. When all the people saw it, they also praised God."

"Sometimes it takes your miracle for others to believe.

So many times, those that doubt our faith need to see a miracle happen to someone else, to say “wow I have hope that this could happen to me”

Never undermine what God is doing in your life. It might not feel like He is doing anything, but He is working on something you cannot see. He is working on something that will cause the people around you to stop and look at how He moves.

Your testimony will be the reason someone Google’s “Churches in my area”. Your testimony will make others ask the questions their spirits are burning to know.

You can be the reason someone is healed. You could save a life.

All you have to do is trust Him in the process, and give Him all of the glory. "

Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of Romans 8:6 which says "For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace."

"Today I wanted us to focus on what’s important. We are officially in the back half of the year. Before we know it the holidays are here. To think of that makes me a little anxious. Time is flying and we can’t stop it.

It’s so easy to get lost in that which doesn’t matter. We get stuck on the flesh. Feeding that which we think is important. We focus on things that make us happy. We focus on making more money or looking good for someone else. Rather than focusing on the spirit. Like serving others, giving our time, helping those in need.

When was the last time you did something for someone?

I pray we are intentional this week. Intentional about listening to others. Intentional about leaning closer to God. Intentional about listening to the spirit. "

Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of John 14:27 which says "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid"

"What a beautiful verse and reminder to hold onto. A lot of the times we ask and pray for things to happen and we have a visual expectation, or a story that we have played in our heads.

This is how God is going to bless me.

This is where I am going to meet the one.

This is the timeline for my life.

We write the ends of our stories over and over again. Everyday a new outcome because everyday things change, and so we think our ends need to change to.

When will re realize that God has given us the gift of peace. A kind of peace that doesn’t make us feel the need to write the end of our stories. When will we realize the true definition of “not as the world gives”

The world doesn’t give, it takes. So why would we ever think He would give as the world gives? He isn’t a father that takes, He is a father that provides."

Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of Matthew 21:21 which says "Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done."

"At some point our problems get so big we can no longer afford to walk around them. At some point we just have to look at the mountains in our lives and we need to tell them to jump into the sea.

That was me today as I got on my peloton. Today is day 4 of working out. I did it everyday at the hotel gym and I knew if I didn’t jump on the bike and get in 20 minutes of cardio I would fall into a bad cycle of neglecting my body.

This battle of mine isn’t about weight loss, it isn’t about looking a certain way, this battle of mine is about chasing the right habits. It’s about taking care of the only body God has given me.

So when that little voice crept in, the one that doesn’t want me to care for my blessings, I looked at it and I told it to jump into the sea.

My prayer today is that I stick to it. I hope you prayer today is that you confront what binds you. Is it school? Is it your current season? A relationship in your life? Financial troubles? Dreams to start a business? What is it that you have been walking around? It’s time to look it in the face and tell it to move. "

Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of Proverbs 4:25 which says "Let your eyes look directly forward, and your gaze be straight before you."

"We all have a Bruno. Think about it, sometimes the hardest thing we can do is let go of the past. We hold onto our mistakes, we hold onto our shame.

When we think we are worthy of the blessings in our life, a tiny voice is quick to remind us of our errors.

I want us to hold onto this verse and remind ourselves to tell that voice that reminds you of your past, and reminds you of your shame that Christ silenced that voice once and for all when He went to the cross.

We don’t have to carry our shame. We don’t have to dwell in our mistakes. We get to surrender them to Christ, yell Silencio Bruno! And walk into the blessing God has in store for us today. Let us hold onto this verse, may we focus our eyes forward. Everyday is a new promise. Everyday is a new opportunity. Today is a good day to start being better. Today is a good day to walk in your promise for us. Today is a good day to take care of our bodies, our souls, and our spirits."

"We have a personal relationship with The Son. We know Jesus, we know His story, we know how it impacted history. We know why he came and we know that he sacrificed his life for us. We know that he taught valuable lessons and he pointed us in the right direction.

My prayer is that we never take his teachings for granted. Lean on his voice, it sounds like stillness. It is the leader in your life. It enlightens your devisions and comforts you. Remember that our best friend in this life is the Holy Spirit that resides.

Our faith lays in something much greater and we are lucky to live in such grace. "

And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing."

"I tell you this full story to paint a picture of life, and of what our weeks may look like at times. Sometimes we have many setbacks and obstacles. Sometimes we think we are at the finish line and we get sent back to the beginning.

It’s a reminder that no matter the obstacle we can count on a good good father to help us through it. We know that we are learning through it all and that when we get the opportunity to get back up we can skip to the front because we’ve already done that part. "

Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of Ephesians 2:8 which says "8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God"

"Today is a reminder that God takes broken unqualified people and He uses them for His glory. Nothing about this podcast is for me, it is all for Him. I am no one special. I don’t know what doubts cloud your mind but let me remind you that it is because of God’s grace that we get to live our lives of freedom, of purpose and of love.

So much so that I wanted to remind you again and again that it is because of Grace and Grace alone. We don’t have to be perfect for Him to use us.

Titus 2:11 says “For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people.” Romans 11:6 says “ And if by grace, then it cannot be based on works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace.”

Acts 15:11 “11 No! We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are.”

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

    Hebrews 4:16

Approach his throne with confidence . It is because of grace that we can do so. Thank you Jesus, use us today. "

Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of Romans 5:8 which says "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

"We are not perfect. We fall short of perfection every day and when we seek perfection we drive a wedge between what we think we need and what we have, which is grace.

God’s grace surpasses the need for perfection. He fills the gap. He meets us right where we are.

No matter where you’ve been, what you’ve done, God loves you. Jesus sacrificed himself for you. So they next time you beat yourself up for something, remind yourself that you are so loved. So beyond loved. SO loved that someone sacrificed his life for you. "

Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of Romans 14:17 which says "For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit"

"This verse is a reminder for us all that the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, in the sense that it’s not something we can enjoy in the physical, but something that is far greater.

The kingdom of God is about being in right standing with Christ, it’s about peace and it’s about the joy of the Holy Spirit that resides inside.

Let us ask the question today, how do we practice righteousness, how do we stay in a state of peace, and how can we hold onto our joy?

It’s important for us to be mindful of these things. So easily we can become distracted, different things can steal our joy and in one second we can lose all that Jesus can give us if we fixate on the stress, or the bad moments.

Don’t let anyone steal your joy today. Let’s make that promise together."
