Today I'm answering a question from a viewer and SPAN member named Rachel. She asks how to get over the anger and the need for revenge when you're dealing with a narcissist who is actively smear campaigning you.

The everyday average person can't imagine what it's like to experience a smear campaign at the hands of someone they love - and that's because, in general, people who love you would never consider such behavior.

But narcissists are different - they are far more likely to engage in manipulative behavior - and for one simple reason: they will do literally anything to get what they want - and that includes maliciously lying or spreading rumors or exaggerations about you.

I'll answer Rachel's question specifically and I'll also explain exactly what a smear campaign is, why the narcissist needs to create smear campaigns against you (including the neurological components involved), and I'll explain how to deal without going crazy in the process.
