Nicole Heidbreder deeply appreciates the beauty and intricacy involved in the processes of birth and death. She believes that the commonly held belief that a healthy baby and mother signify a successful birth is an oversimplification and can be detrimental to the birthing experience. Nicole's business, Graceful Fusion, works towards training and empowering compassionate doulas who deeply appreciate all stages of life. Through education, support, and community outreach, her doulas strive to offer dignity, professionalism, and respect during life's most significant transitions, whether it is the beginning of a new life or the end of one. She has an intertwined relationship between her personal and professional life. In her early twenties, she was curious about exploring her sexuality and the concept of death.
