Some people's well-meaning 'good advice' is other people's toxic trait just waiting to pull them under. Sometimes tough love, hard work and grit is the answer, yet sometimes it's the very root of the problem at hand. This week Bobby and I are talking about burnout and exhaustion whilst we reflect on the cause and effect of the resources, information and 'inspiration' that's at our fingertips these days. Ikigai is a Japanese word for the concept of having a reason for living or a sense of purpose. Sometimes this concept is at the core of why some people respond well to grit and 'harden-up-ness' whilst others who may not have yet found their ikigai can suffer severe consequences of taking that same type of approach. 

Life... if only it were less complex, hey!
