On The Run is a hard cover coffee table style book featuring a collection of runs and stories about running from around the world. Each run is its own story so you don’t need to read the book cover to cover and each run features large photos of spectacular scenery. The book has an introduction to running in the first section, and the remainder is divided into 6 sections:
Distances and Terrains
City runs
Mountain Runs
Quirky Runs
Heritage Runs
Wild Runs
This book was conceived, edited, and designed by the publisher Gestalten with many contributors helping to fill the pages. The text in the book was written by Christian Nathler and Nick Butter (previously a guest and author of Running the World). Captions by Anna Southgate.
If you would like to get a copy of the book for yourself, you can get it here: https://gestalten.com/products/on-the-run-nick-butter
