We revisit what has in many ways become an iconic Ouzo Talk chat with comedian, actor and writer, Angelo Tsarouchas! Ever wondered what it’d be like to have a stand-up comedian give you a private performance at home? This episode is your answer! Famed Bouzouki player Manolis Michalakis drops by Ouzo Talk to talk all things Rebetika and the instrument that has come to characterise the genre. Often referred to as 'the blues of Greece', Rebetika is an important part of Greece's musical and cultural heritage, in a marriage of instruments and styles that draw inspiration from ancient Greece, right through to Smyrna in the early 20th century.
