We’re not ghost hunters, or paranormal investigators but on this episode we do reveal the mystery man that took a dump in little Georgie from ITs toilet. Cody Crain joins the show again to do some horoscopes, listen to Nicolina tell the story of Fort Qu’appelle Sanatorium, also known as Fort San, in Saskatchewan and the ghost of Nurse Jane. While the two also play a hilarious game of FMK. It’s truly a spooktacular time.

This Hometown Haunts episode begins by introducing our new temp host, or G-HOST if you will…the man, the myth, the legend, sir Cody Crain graces us with his presence on the show. He comes hot on the heels of a new role in the show aptly called, “Ghosts.” Nicolina chats with Cody about his experiences on set so far, why he loves tall men, and why Rose McIver is a literal angel. The two then share some listener stories including the sighting of a dog ghost, and a number of chilling hospital hauntings. Laughs and scares ensue. Enjoy!

On this episode of Para(normal), we celebrate Marie’s final episode before heading on maternity leave. In honour of this, the girls do a fan favourite (and one of their favourite) themes: past life regression stories. Nicolina shares the story of Ryan Hammons, an Oklahoma native, who at 5 years old began recalling his past life as Marty Martyn, a film director and agent, who died in Beverley Hills, California in 1964. Marie then tells the story of the Pollock twins, Jacqueline and Joanna who were killed in a car accident in 1957, and then seemingly “reincarnated” as their twin sisters, Gillian & Jennifer Pollock.

On this Hometown Haunts episode we have Trevor Campbell from the podcast “You Made Me Queer” on the show. Trevor chats with us about his ultra-Catholic upbringing and the pilgrimages he and his family took to haunted locations around the world. He and Marie bond over not being abducted as children, and we crack the code of what a true child ghost is versus what a child-demon ghost is. Plus, we share a wild listener story from Peach Tattoo, who believes they saw the ghost of their partners father while alone in the home he passed in. All this and more, on Para(normal)!

Canada has a lot of haunted places we have yet to explore, and on this episode of Para(normal) we unearth some of the spookiest spots from across the country. Marie starts us off with the Cherry Hill House in Mississauga, Ontario, one of Canada’s top haunted landmarks. The house, now a diner, continues to be haunted by the original owners, specifically the ghost of a small girl, who is frequently sighted in the windows of the vacant rooms. Nicolina then takes us all the way to Indian Head, Saskatchewan where she shares the sad story of The Screaming House, where a grieving mother’s ghost plays on repeat as she watches her young child’s untimely death from the stone house windows.
The girls also give details into their latest Instagram giveaway, a Spooky Prize Pack that includes some special Halloween treats for listeners. Head over to @paranormalpod to enter now!

More hometown haunts trickle in as the girls officially enter spooky season, and the latest stories don’t disappoint. Nicolina shares a listener story from Michele about her haunted apartment in Malta where she experienced heavy footsteps, tapping sounds (in threes) on her window, and hearing praying through the night. Marie then continues to read Jessica’s stories from our last hometown haunts episode, who details multiple terrifying experiences such as being grabbed by the ankle, the shoulder, and hearing growls and screaming by unknown entities.

Is it spooky season yet? To the girls of Para(normal) it sure feels like it. But in all fairness let’s consider this a “pre”-spooky season episode, and it’s all about one of the most feared ghosts…otherwise known as “CHOSTS,” or “child ghosts.” In this episode Nicolina shares some famous sightings of “Radiant Boys” –– glowing ghosts who have been murdered by their mother’s –– specifically in Corby Castle, in Cumbria, England and Chillingham Castle in Northumberland, England. Marie then tells the tragic legend of a group of children who were killed on a set of train tracks in San Antonio, Texas in the 1930s or 40s, and who continue to leave their “mark” on the cars that pass over the tracks even to this day.
