“I dare you to come for me demon.” – Cody Crain
In this week’s hometown haunts episode the girls invite fellow podcasters, Cody Crain and Damien Doepping from the show Spooked! to get their horoscopes read, share their own haunts, and play a creepy game of “Would You Rather.” Naturally, Damien considers a career in writing horoscopes, while trying to debunk all things paranormal, and Cody tries to fight a psychopath, jigsaw, the girl from The Ring AND a demon, all in one episode! Meanwhile, Marie and Nicolina just try to hold it together.

Do the lies we tell come from some version of the truth? Usually. The girls dive into stories from those who may not be able to tell the difference between reality or fantasy, but needless to say, whatever it is seems pretty darn spooky. Marie shares the second submission from a listener with a *very* haunted basement, while Nicolina follows up on a previous hometown haunt that turned out not to be so freaky after all. The girls also unearth a brand new tale from a listener named Abby, after a visit to Stepp Cemetery in Indiana. Also, special audio appearance and *almost* NSFW visual from a certain male guest as well.

The girls are back with some spooky tales that involve some spooky tails! That is, paranormal animals of course. Marie covers the creepy yet somewhat humorous story of “Gef” the Talking Mongoose that occurred in the 1930s. Nicolina then takes us down memory lane to discuss the tainted reputation of the black cat, and some of the most prolific paranormal events where black cats had serious main character energy, including the infamous Black Cat at of Killakee.

We’ve just entered another month long lockdown, and we miss gathering and getting dressed up to eat, drink, and be merry in the company of friends and family. So, why not dedicate an episode all about haunted restaurants and bars? Nicolina shares over half a dozen first-hand experiences from patrons of the Keg Mansion in Toronto, Ontario. While Marie *finally* tells the story of the Winking Judge pub located in the girls’ hometown of Hamilton, Ontario.

The girls take a little break from guest haunts, and go back to their roots with some listener submitted stories. This week, Marie shares a story from Jamie Weyhe about her experience with a loud growl that crept up on her and her coworker in her office building’s washroom. Nicolina then tells a terrifying experience from listener, Jennie Stout, whose 8-year old son appears to have encountered a shadow man who really doesn’t like stepping on legos.
Also, calling all dream interpreters, Nicolina and Marie tell a few of their most horrifying nightmares, and wonder what they could mean.
