Then, after completing her master’s degree in Speech & Hearing at Washington University in St. Louis, Mary Lou headed to Denver for her first clinical position and never left. For over 40 years as a speech-language pathologist at Children’s Hospital Colorado, Mary Lou honed her methods while helping children and their parents.
