Mandy Giles is the parent of two nonbinary young adults and is passionate about making safe spaces for transgender youth, both at home and out in the world. Leveraging more than two decades of serving children through educational nonprofits, Mandy founded Parents of Trans Youth as a social impact business to serve parents who affirm and support their gender-diverse kids. Because her transgender children are over the age of 18, Mandy is currently one of the few parents of trans youth in Texas who is willing and able to speak publicly without fear of being targeted by state government agencies. Mandy is also the host of the Everyday Trans Activism podcast and lives in Houston, Texas, with her husband and three children.
