1. Start at the bottom and be willing to learn from someone who has done it. 
2. Have proof of concept on making active income in your business, before trying to make it passively. 
3. Understand passive income requires upfront effort in order to cash in for years and years after that initial effort. 
4. Take risks on repeat. Be willing to experiment and try new things, knowing they could possibly not work while stacking the odds in your favor that they will.
