It's a testament to how difficult IC is to treat we considered a few other 'missing pieces.' We thought about highlighting the 'IC Diet', superficial pelvic floor muscles, constipation, urachus, inner thighs, calves or ischiorectal fascia.
But we kept coming back to the sciatic nerve and the major role it plays in urinary urgency, frequency and/ or interstitial cystitis.
In this 'sode we discuss the evaluation and treatment of neural tension and how it can transform how you treat patients with IC and urinary issues.

If you're doing it periodically, it might be something to prioritize higher. And if you're not doing it at all, it's another tool in your toolbox.
