This week is a very special episode! We bring you the first recording of Pete Rollin’s Pints & Parables. Pete gave this talk in Grand Rapids, Michigan in front of a live audience. We selected a handful of the parables performed for this very special recording. Pete is a provocative writer, philosopher, storyteller and public speaker who has gained an international reputation for overturning traditional notions of religion and forming “churches” that preach the Good News that we can’t be satisfied, that life is difficult, and that we don’t know the secret. Peter gained his higher education from Queens University, Belfast and has earned degrees (with distinction) in Scholastic Philosophy (BA Hons), Political Theory (MA) and Post-Structural thought (PhD). Peter has written multiple books including: Insurrection, The Idolatry of God, The Orthodox Heretic and The Divine Magician. www.peterrollins.net Facebook: @OrthodoxHeretic Twitter: @PeterRollins Here are some live event to check out! more at peterrollins.net Pints and Parables in Detroit, Oct 20 https://t.co/QChdaR2Xpr?ssr=true and Building On Fire: Pyrotheology and the Pursuit of Life Before Death - Detroit, Oct 22 https://t.co/tTdSxi8mvv?ssr=true If you’re digging what we’re doing here consider making a small donation.
