A discussion on the special election. A review of Meta ad income shows that CGTN, a China state-controlled outlet, is spending money to target global users with pro-Russian, anti-NATO messages. While Meta makes money on the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Goldman Sachs, Nestle, Sony and Caterpillar are pulling out of Russian operations. A couple was arrested after filming a "24 hour challenge" in a Target for their YouTube channel. They've been charged with third-degree criminal trespassing and conspiracy and are not allowed in any Targets in PA, per bail conditions.

We're sorry. Despite requests for information, the city of Fresno delayed releasing information related to a $400k phishing scam that struck City Hall in 2020 under the Brand administration. Then the emails leaked. An FBI investigation into the fraud is ongoing. At his State of the State address, Gov. Newsom announced a tax rebate on gas as the state earns the top spot for highest average price per gallon at $5.44. Newsom will not entertain calls to drill for oil in the state though, instead he says he wants to "free the state once and for all from the grasp of petro-dictators." Assistant Sheriff John Zanoni joins the show to discuss his candidacy, and endorsement by Sheriff Mims, for Fresno Co. Sheriff in November. After 17 year old Nick Kauls was murdered in 2018, a classmate at San Joaquin Memorial student raised over $28k which helped purchase a new K9 officer for the Fresno Police Department.  A K9 was used to catch Nick's murderer, who was hiding behind a dumpster prior to arrest.

Russians bombed a maternity hospital in south Ukraine in the latest attacks targeted at civilians. Miraculously, there were no fatalities but cities across the country have taken to digging mass graves to bury the dead. Corporations continue to shut down operations in Russia as a result of the attack on Ukraine. McDonald's has temporarily closed 850 restaurants but will continue to pay its 62k Russian employees. Starbucks, Coca-Cola and PepsiCo have also announced halts to services in the country. Adidas has closed its stores and shuts down e-commerce operations in Russia. After a person in the crowd made loud monkey noises at a varsity soccer player during a championship game, Oak Ridge High School has announced a plan to apologize, hold the person accountable and address the racist behavior in the classroom. A high school student was arrested at school with a stolen, loaded gun after students alerted staff to a TikTok video with the kid showing off the gun in his waistband.

The Fresno State/Castro drama continues as emails reveal that Dr. Joseph Castro nominated Frank Lamas to President of CSU San Marcos and also used him as a babysitter for his own kids. Prince Andrew is off the hook for the lawsuit brought by a woman he was accused of abusing in the company of Jeffrey Epstein.
