A group of California lawmakers, led by Assembly GOP Leader James Gallagher and Assm. Valadao references the state's projected $31b budget surplus to manage any lost revenue. Fresno City Councilmember Mike Karbassi joins the show to discuss the fallout of leaked documents that detailed a $600k fraud scheme currently under investigation by the FBI. Councilmember Arias claims it was public record information but the council could decide if it falls under the "snitches get stiches" rule.
