Episode 143 is on the scene from the Outer Banks. Well, not exactly. The boys are on vacation this week but racing isn't so we recorded a special episode before they left.

Payne is currently the spotter for Donovan Strauss on the zMAX CARS Tour, Austin Jones at Bowman Gray Stadium and recently served as one of the spotters for Erik Jones for the inaugural Cup Series race in Mexico City. PJ goes in depth about his trip to Mexico from arrival to departure and everything in between. We also take a deep dive into this life and career which has seen him work for the Reaume Brothers, Jesse Iwuji, John Michael Shenette, Stephen Mallozzi, Richard Childress Racing and more. All of this nearly didn't happen however as upon moving to North Carolina, he nearly ran out of money and patience. You need to hear how this story played out!
