In this podcast DrA will break down the issues seen clinically in Post-COVID and Post-Vax cases NOT from his usual strictly "peer-reviewed publication" format (although he will have that too) but rather from the many clinicians who share clinical experiences with him daily. This will be a different take on these issues we are all living with and will involve a discussion of (what we know of) "why" these phenomena happen as well as how long they take to resolve and what we can do about them.
0:00 - 2:50 Intro and Where are we now?
2:50 - 19:49 Updates Vax vs NoVax, Post COV data
19:50 - 33:19 What issues do we see with Post___?
33:20 Clinical Observations

WHERE ARE WE NOW:
And PLEASE – this isn’t a pro/anti disease or pro/anti vax position – this is about reality and what we do about it.

Wisnivesky, J. P., et.al (2022). Association of Vaccination with the Persistence of Post-COVID Symptoms. Journal of general internal medicine, 1–6. (March 9, 2022)
Results: The study included 453 COVID-19 patients with post-acute sequelae of COVID (PASC), of which 324 (72%) were vaccinated between the baseline and 6-month visit. Unadjusted analyses did not show significant differences in the baseline to 6-month change in anosmia, respiratory symptoms, depression, anxiety, PTSD, or quality of life (p under 0.05 for all comparisons) among vaccinated vs. unvac...
Conclusions: Our findings suggest that COVID vaccination is not associated with improvement in PASC.... https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8906626/
WHAT ARE CLINICIANS REPORTING:
Post-COVID

Post Vax
Recently, new-onset autoimmune phenomena after COVID-19 vaccination have been reported increasingly (e.g. immune thrombotic thrombocytopenia, autoimmune liver diseases, Guillain-Barré syndrome, IgA nephropathy, rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus). Molecular mimicry, the production of particular autoantibodies and the role of certain vaccine adjuvants seem to be substantial contributors to autoimmune phenomena. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34957554/

CONCEPTS:
It doesn’t matter the cause, it’s here with us now. The real issue is what do we do and what do we need to understand?
- It all takes longer than you think.
- Early treatment, in our group of over 4000 patients, has shown overwhelming effect on post-covid syndrome (it is very rare in those treated early.)
- With significant long COVID or post vax it can take 6-12 months in good cases or longer to resolve WITH AGGRESSIVE THERAPIES.
- It appears that COVID and those who react to the Vax BOTH have (a) things stirred up that were silent, and (b) new onset underlying issues. The more complex the case the more of these areas that need to be assessed and treated.
CRITICAL AREAS TO ASSESS:
1. Cell Function: Includes nutrients, organelles, nutrigenomics, membranes etc.
2. Toxin: Metal, Chemical, Myco-Bio etc
3. Biofilm / Resistance Factors: Biofilms, Medications, Underlying diseases etc.
4. Immunology: Autoimmunity, Immune Deficiencies, Infections (chronic and acute), etc.
5. Endocrine: Even if never a problem before…
6. Psychosocial: Huge comorbidity!
7. Digestive – GI: Includes diet, GI membrane health, microbiome, GI immunity etc.
8. Physical – Structural: Often overlooked…
