Meet Natasha -- a mother, business owner, podcaster (Waiting For Margo) living in Paris, France! She is passionate about breaking the taboos of having (and not having) babies.
In today's interview she shared her mother's journey with cancer, how she discovered she was a BRCA1 mutation carrier and her plan for a double mastectomy to reduce her high risk of getting breast cancer.
She also openly shared her heartbreaking story of pregnancy loss (she's had 3 miscarriages) and the diagnosis that finally gave her some answers.
We discussed why it's so critical to be your own health advocate and ask for what you need & want with no apology when it comes to your body!
We also both shared a bit about our birth story -- which was so special. :)
What I love about Natasha is not only her authenticity and vulnerability -- but also her attitude and mindset despite experiencing great hardship.
This was a heartfelt, moving and vulnerable conversation!
May we continue to normalize conversations about pregnancy loss and ALL that women’s bodies move through on their fertility journey.
