Harvey was in attendance. We go over the defense motion to suppress the jail calls with investigator Jason Newlin called to the stand.

A RN with the Leon Co jail testifies about medical procedures and Donna's self-reported  physical aliments that are mentioned in the motion for bond as to why she should be released pending trial.

Donna takes the stand and talks about the dropped jail calls with Charlie. The calls were made shortly after this conviction in November, 2023.

JP Miller has been sued by a woman who says he sexually assaulted her when she was a minor and again in 2023. Before we get to her filing, we are reading through an affidavit by his ex-wife, who gives a lot of insight into the JP she knew, which leads into the alleged victim's filing. 

I say allegedly a lot because JP is allegedly sue happy and wants to be a millionaire suing everyone - per his wife's affidavit.  Allegedly.

The defense case beings with lots of arguments outside the presence of the jury. Zachary's defense strategy was stopped before it started with the judge's ruling. Christina's daughter was going to take the stand in Zack's defense until the judge's ruling. 

Also recapping: 
Opening statements by his defense, Investigator Bevill is recalled by the defense, and I break down what the defense proffered of witnesses they intended to call had the judge ruled differently. This was not live streamed

At the end of the day Zack stood and told the judge he would be testifying in his own defense.
