Preliminary hearing for Victoria Tippett and Kendall Mims who are charged in connection with the murder of Jessica Barnes. Brandon Barnes waived his preliminary hearing. 
Jessica was reported missing and later found deceased and burned to death. Brandon admitted to strangling her. Victoria witnessed the murder, and both women helped conceal and cover up the crime.

State concedes the notebook found at the Richins home during the 1st search warrant was illegally obtained. The defense is hoping to have it tossed as well as other evidence they consider as "fruit of the poisonous tree". The state says it would have been found shortly after the search warrant and wants the judge to consider the notebook as inevitable discovery and allow it in.
