He is an internationally-renowned thought leader and researcher in the field of body dysmorphic disorder (BDD). Professor Veale leads a highly specialised service for patients with severe anxiety disorders including Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), emetophobia (the fear of vomiting), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) as well as BDD.
