RFM todays tackles the Deception of LDS Leaders that the Church in shielding membership from being aware of a significant loss of members to disaffection.  In this part 3 episode RFM shows using Leaders own words juxtaposed against the data that they are lying about Church growth and are downplaying disaffection.  He then proceeds to show that Mormonism has begun a sleight of hand as they begin to shift what “growth” will mean for future members of the Church.

RFM todays tackles the awareness of LDS Leaders that the Church is losing members in a mass apostacy.  In this part 2 episode RFM how much LDS leaders know that Mormonism is no longer growing.  Using Marlin Jenson’s statement that

“The fifteen men really do know, and they really care. And they realize that maybe since Kirtland, we never have had a period of, I’ll call it apostasy, like we’re having right now; largely over these issues. We do have another initiative that we have called, “Answers to Gospel Questions”. We are trying to figure out exactly what channels to deliver it in and exactly what format to put it in. But we want to have a place where people can go. We have hired someone that’s in charge of search engine optimization. We realize that people get their information basically from Google. They don’t come to LDS.org. If they get there, it’s through Google. So, we are trying to create an offering that will address these issues and be available for the public at large and to the church leaders, because many of them don’t have answers either. It can be very disappointing to church members. And, for people who are losing their faith, or who have lost it, we hope to regain to the church.”

RFM todays tackles the growth of the Church.  In this part 1 episode RFM dives into how the Church used growth as a witness of the truthfulness of the Church in past decades and utilized the Book of Daniel and the Stone cut out of the mountain without hands.  Then he takes multiple General Conference talks and other media soundbites to show that the Church as an institution most assuredly framed itself in this way.  He concludes setting up episode 2 where now that Church growth has become stagnate and perhaps even receding, that the Church is in the process of removing such a framework and creating a new narrative.

RFM tackles the announcement of the reorganization of the First Presidency of the LDS Church.  What was said and what it means and what understanding it leads to when the LDS process or reorganizing its leadership is juxtaposed against how scripture imposes that such be handled.

Radio Free Mormon tackles the pillar of revelation.  In his normal RFM fashion, he lays out like a legal case the fact that Mormonism has gone from a religion that encouraged and expected its membership to have direct revelation from God, his son, and his angels to a faith that has stripped away any real dependenace or expectation of revelation.  From handshakes to discern ministering angels to being told today that such things like a angelic visit or even a real voice not only should not be expected but simply won’t happen!!!!
