How's your relationship with your body? If there was a dialogue between you and it (oh by the way there is, you just may not be conscious of it) what does it say?
I think it's time we tune into this, start to understand what's really going on and start listening to the intelligence and wisdom that our body communicates to us moment to moment. We wouldn't say mean things to a puppy if it felt pain, got chubby or came down with an illness, would we? So why is it ok that we treat our own bodies with such disdain?
At first it whispers, we ignore it. Then it shouts, we curse it. Then it breaks down, we shame it. No more. I'm calling it. It's time to regroup, reframe, own up and reignite a healthy relationship with the vehicle we were gifted to carry us through this life and engage us in physical experiences and activities.
I hope this episode hits you in the heart and sees you stand in front of a mirror and say 'thanks' (and maybe 'sorry') to that brilliant biological Ferrari of yours.
