When we were thinking about who could usher us into our summer sabbath and help us really think about  resting well, we knew it had to be one of our favorite pastors and leaders, John Eldredge. I'm so grateful for John and the wisdom he always shares as we walk into the next season. We talk a lot about taking care of the condition of our soul, asking God what we need this summer, and what life with God looks like. If you aren’t listening to John's podcast, Wild At Heart, you know I don’t like to “should” people around here, but you have GOT TO CHECK IT OUT. It is seriously a don’t miss podcast for me and they even have an episode about summer soul care that would be another great one to listen to.
