Now here is an underrated gem of the '90s disaster movie craze. 'Daylight' stars Sylvester Stallone as a former (and disgraced!) New York City EMS chief who enters a collapsed tunnel to save a small group of survivors inside. Though it lays on the cheese pretty thick at times, it's worth viewing for the special effects and a reliable Stallone performance.
In 1998, we were blessed with not one but two asteroid-on-a-collision-course-with-earth movies, starting with 'Deep Impact.' While most people often think more of 'Armageddon,' this one still has plenty of disaster-movie goodies to offer.
In honor of St. Patrick's Day, we're talking about Jennifer Aniston's feature film debut: Leprechaun! This 1993 horror-comedy spawned what would become an EIGHT-MOVIE series, which is... wild. Word has it you're guaranteed the Presidential Medal of Freedom if you manage to sit through all eight without your eyes and ears bleeding.

Political movies in the '90s were REALLY good at predicting what would happen to the country, and 1997's 'Wag the Dog' was no different. This political satire - starring Robert De Niro and Dustin Hoffman - about a fake, manufactured war used to cover up a presidential sex scandal was eerily prescient, as the Monica Lewinsky scandal would break just weeks after the movie was released. This movie was also great at predicting our current state of political affairs, which is... pretty bleak!

If you've got serious fears about a virus wiping out humanity, this is the movie for you. 'Outbreak' is a 1995 blockbuster featuring an all-star cast that features a deadly virus that kills you in a matter of hours and the U.S. military desperate to nuke an American city. It also features the same monkey that played Marcel in 'Friends,' which probably gets top billing over Dustin Hoffman for most people these days.

Happy Valentine's Day! To celebrate, we've picked a romantic comedy starring Nicolas Cage and Bridget Fonda that is loosely - and we mean LOOSELY - based on a true story in which a New York cop splits his winning lottery ticket with a waitress. If you only know Cage from his more recent work, this movie will shake you to your core, because he's basically Jimmy Stewart in this romantic leading man role. This movie also begs the great eternal question: What would you do with the money if you won the lottery?

Cowabunga, dudes! If you grew up in the '80s and '90s, there was simply no escaping the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. And why would you want to? These mutated, pizza-eating turtles kick butt, and their first live-action movie was the perfect hybrid of the cartoon show out at the time and the far more serious comic book series that kicked off this ubiquitous brand. This movie has a little something for everyone too - which helped make it the highest-grossing independent film of all time - and the turtles' costumes, made by the Jim Henson Company, remain some of the most impressive visual effects work ever done.

If you're in search of some high-quality H2O, have we got the episode for you. We're diving into 1998's 'The Waterboy,' which remains one of Adam Sandler's biggest box-office hits to date. This is also arguably one of the most quotable movies of the '90s, and while it was quoted to such a degree that it eventually became nauseating, a rewatch proves that this one holds up - provided you could handle Sandler's schtick in this one in the first place.

In this episode, we revisit Michael Bay's directorial debut - and it's as insane as all Michael Bay movies that came after it. 'Bad Boys' also featured Will Smith and Martin Lawrence when they were both best-known as sitcom stars, but the success of this film catapulted them to superstardom. Michael Bay is about as divisive a director as there is in Hollywood, but if you like action movies and absurd '90s fashion, you're going to like 'Bad Boys.'

Here's a movie that tries to imagine a crazy world where the U.S. government aims to pass legislation that gives it the ability to spy on American citizens whenever, and however, it wants. Boy, wouldn't that be nuts?! In today's episode, the boys talk about 1998's 'Enemy of the State,' featuring Will Smith at the height of his box office powers and Gene Hackman, as always, at the top of his game.
