ABOUT LEON: In 2017, he retired from a 40+ year career in special education and staff training to devote more time to my other passions. These include bonsai, all things horticulture, old school physical training, and genealogy.

He is a Consulting Rosarian for the American Rose Society and a founding member of the Finger Lakes/Southern Tier Rose Regional Rose Society. He is also a member of the Syracuse Rose Society where he volunteered at the EM Mills Garden, and the NY State Nursery & Landscape Association/Region 8.
