Do you really know what is in your skincare products? Ross Macdougauld joins us to talk us through his background as an experienced industry chemist. After many years working on leading brands as a cosmetic chemist, and formulating hundreds of products for large cosmetic companies, Ross became incredibly frustrated with the way these brands were misleading their consumers and not being honest about what was contained in their products.
Now Ross is on a mission to prove through science that natural and organic products not only work for the health of our skin, but are better than synthetic man-made chemicals.
Ross and his wife Lucy are taking their 'Confessions of a cosmetic chemist' events around the globe and telling audiences the truth about what we are likely to find in most of our cosmetics and skincare, and how we can build awareness and knowledge for ourselves to be educated enough to filter through the marketing and find the truth on the labels of our skincare product labels.
