This week we’re joined by a true legend of Scottish ultra running — someone who’s quietly built a record that’s nothing short of extraordinary. He completed his 200th ultra lining it up with finishing the West Highland Way Race for the twentieth time. He’s part of the backbone of the Scottish endurance community — a runner, a volunteer, and a medic who’s seen the sport from every angle. He’s tough, humble, and deeply respected by anyone who’s ever stood on a start line with him. Welcome to the show, Neil MacRitchie. This week’s guest has spent a lifetime in the hills and onthe long trails — from Seven UTMB starts to eleven West Highland Way races (10of which have been sub 24 hours!), fifteen Ben Nevis Races, and even completingall the Munros. He’s navigated huge physical challenges along the way, including multiple cardiac procedures and a pacemaker, yet he keeps showing upwith the same quiet determination. We welcome to the show Bob Allison.
