Adharanand’s first title was named Sunday Times Sports Book of the Year, he won Best New Writer at the British Sports Book awards and he has twice been shortlisted for the biggest prize in sports writing: the William Hill Sports Book of the Year. He writes regular feature articles for the Guardian, the Financial Times, the Telegraph, Runner’s World magazine and many other publications. He has run 10 ultra marathons, and has a best marathon time of 2 hours 50 mins. He lives in south-west England with his wife and three children.
