Did you know that men are 3x more likely than women to be diagnosed with ADHD? ADHD, or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, is a type of neurodivergence with symptoms that can include restlessness, trouble concentrating, and sensory issues. It can can have huge implications for your life, work, and mental health, but quite often it’s missed until people notice it themselves, and advocate for it with their GPS. It’s also something we’re seeing more of on TikTok, which is making some people worry that it’s being glamourised and turned into a bandwagon. But with diagnosis so hard to come by, especially in the UK, maybe there’s some value in self-diagnosis?

Gemma Styles recently opened up about her experience with being diagnosed with ADHD as an adult, and we’re so pleased she’s joining us today to talk us through the process of being diagnosed, what this meant for her mental health/self-love, and how she’s adjusted to her diagnosis.
