Dr Lisa Smith is a professor, hypnotherapist, author, and advocate who has helped many people for the past 20+ years overcome trauma from PTSD, abuse (physical, sexual & emotional) & other mental health issues. In many cases, she is likely the only person that her clients confide in regarding their sexual assault or rape. This is a very hard hitting episode so be warned! Lisa discusses a number of Sexual Violence incidents within her own family, in her own home! She he would learn that these such incidents were not isolated, and soon realized that the issue of Sexual Assault in her community was all too common. She made it her mission to raise awareness and convince people and parents that young children and teens must learn about grooming and targeting so that, as a community, they can reduce the number of sexual assaults against children and youth.
