Andy Orrick, a healthy father of two, had just returned from a swim with his Son, when he realized that one of his Testicles was 4 x the size that it was meant to be! The next steps were a whirlwind, starting with a visit to his doctor, antibiotics, ultrasound , CT scan, the dreaded diagnosis, a urologist, and a life saving operation! It was just 3 weeks from first seeing his doctor, to having his testicle removed, all on the NHS in the UK where he lives! Andy's story is much more than just these insane three weeks! It’s a wonderful and heartfelt episode about just how life can be flipped upside down at the drop of a hat. We discuss the diagnosis, the mental rollercoaster, the journey through to the operation, and the recovery process.
