While Martha served diligently, Mary sat at Jesus’ feet, each demonstrating different expressions of devotion. When their brother Lazarus died, both sisters showed deep faith in Jesus’ power, revealing their unique spiritual strengths. We’ll discuss how their story reflects the Proverbs 31 woman, highlighting themes of balancing work and worship, deepening our faith, and learning when to serve and when to be still in God’s presence.
