This week Georgie speaks to Laura Nolan Horgan. Laura was 32 when she found out she was BRCA 1 positive, often referred to as the Angelina Jolie gene, meaning she had a higher risk of developing ovarian or breast cancer. Laura was expecting her third child and she decided to have a hysterectomy 6 weeks after the birth of her little boy and a double mastectomy in the months afterwards. Laura speaks about menopause in her 30s, the amazing support network she had around her and how after everything she's been through she still feels like herself but an even better version.
