Say Goodbye to CPTSD, Hidden Emotional Triggers: How to Identify and Overcome Triggered Anxiety
One of the most important parts of narcissistic abuse recovery is that you learn about both the narcissist's psychology and your own. This video, though, is all about you and what you might be dealing with when you are triggered into an emotional reaction.
Do you think you might have PTSD or CPTSD as the result of narcissistic abuse? If so, this video is for you!
An emotional trigger is an event, situation, person or thing that sort of "brings you back" to the moments of being abused by a narcissist.
Triggers in narcissistic abuse can be debilitating - and that's why, in today's video, I'm going to go into a little depth on how to identify your triggers and offer some suggestions for overcoming them.
I'll also share the symptoms of a trigger and explain what a hidden trigger is in relation to a toxic relationship. Plus, I'll explain why you can't be triggered while you're still in a relationship with an abuser, as well as explaining the one exception to that rule.
