The federal budget presented by the government on April 2 includes several tax cuts among other policies. Tax agent Baiju Mathai, from Taxman Accountants in Melbourne explains the major tax policies in the budget that can have an impact to the general public.

The Australian government has announced many changes in the migration program in order to promote regional migration. What should the aspiring migrants know about that?

With the federal election due soon many Australians will be able to vote for the first time, but to do so they must be on the electoral roll.

The Australian Electoral Commission estimates more than 600,000 eligible voters have not yet enrolled and is urging them to do so.
