Sathyan Mahalingam, is an Indian playback singer and composer.He is best known for performing the hit numbers "Kalakkapovathu Yaaru" (Vasool Raja MBBS), "Sil Sil" (Arinthum Ariyamalum) and the title track from Boss Engira Bhaskaran. Satyan will perform in Euphoria 2018 in Melbourne. This is an interview with him.

Bruce Pascoe is a man of many talents. His varied career has spanned teaching, farming, bar-tending, working on an archaeological site, lecturing, researching Aboriginal languages as well as writing.

He has explored the writings and paintings of early colonialists in order to deconstruct over-simplified portrayals of Indigenous life and to examine the agricultural and scientific discoveries of our ancestors - who were far from simply hunter-gatherers.

Kulasegaram Sanchayan talks to Bruce Pascoe about his work and about the connection between the First Australians and Tamils.

The wife of a Tamil asylum seeker being deported from Australia to Sri Lanka has pleaded with the government to reverse the decision so they can raise their baby daughter together.

Thileepan Gnaneswaran was denied a temporary protection visa and, on Friday, issued with a removal notice by the Department of Home Affairs. He was forced to leave behind his wife, Karthika, and their 11-month-old daughter.
