NAIDOC (National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee) is celebrated around Australia to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. What are the major issues of the Aborigines and Islanders communities? What shall we do to rectify them?

பூர்வீக குடிமக்கள் இந்த நாட்டில் எதிர்கொள்ளும் பிரச்சனைகள் என்ன? அரசு மேற்கொள்ளும் நடவடிக்கைகள் போதுமானதா? நாம் என்ன செய்ய முடியும்?

In the final episode of the series, "Contemporary Issues challenging Tamil Nadu," we discuss in brief, the current status of all the ten issues we have discussed in the past.   Kulasegaram Sanchayan presents comments from A. Muthukrishnan - author, social activist and the founder of Green Walk - an informal group that highlights neglected monuments; and Mr. Appasamy Navaneethakrishnan, former Advocate General of Tamil Nadu and presently a Member of Parliament, representing Tamil Nadu in the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of India's Parliament (the leader of the AIADMK party in the Rajya Sabha).

Performing internationally, the Central Australian Aboriginal Women's Choir is raising global awareness about the cultural richness and diversity of Australia’s First People.

இது NAIDOC வாரம்.  National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee, என்பதன் சுருக்கம் தான் NAIDOC.  இந்த ஆண்டு, பூர்வீகப் பெண்கள் குறிப்பிடத்தக்க பங்களிப்பிற்கு NAIDOC வாரம் அர்ப்பணிக்கப்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது.

மண்ணின் நடுப்பகுதியில் வாழும் பூர்வீக பெண்கள் இசைக் குழு ஒன்று சர்வதேச கவனத்தை ஈர்த்துள்ளது.  இவர்கள் குறித்து Wolfgang Mueller எழுதிய விவரணத்தைத் தமிழில் தருகிறார் குலசேகரம் சஞ்சயன்.
