Zack is the oldest of 10 kids. He first spoke at the adoption agency his mom founded when he was 13. He went onto work there after college. As Associate Director, Zack is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Adoption STAR. His position includes accomplishing compliance objectives, establishing compliance standards, and taking the lead on the planning and organization of site visits and licensing reviews. He is also responsible for supervising staff, human resources, and enhancing a client experience through quality assurance, etc. Zack also oversees Adoption STAR’s satellite offices and programs. 

Zack first joined the agency in 2009, but even before that he was a volunteer speaker.  Zack has held various positions over the years working in intake, compliance, as well as client relations. 

As an adoptee, Zack feels a special connection to adoption and all the processes involved. He is very open to sharing his personal story. Zack participates as a facilitator in pre-parenthood classes and adoption orientation sessions. Additionally, Zack is the facilitator of ACE (Adoptee Circle of Experience support group) providing support, resources and search information for adult adoptees. He is a talented and frequent speaker at nationwide conferences and workshops and a tireless advocate for adoption education and permanency planning to be in the best interest of children.

Outside of adoption, Zack loves watching Netflix, eating, traveling, music, cleaning, and spending time with loved ones.
