August 31 was the last day of Parliament before its dissolution ahead of the general election on October 14. 

As you know we’ve had our Six and a Song the election edition with the leaders of the main parties. Next week we’ll be speaking to Christopher Luxon and the following week Chris Hipkins.

As the election campaign ramps up a name you’ll be hearing a lot on Newstalk ZB is Jason Walls – who will be leading our election coverage over the next month.  

We thought it was a great opportunity to welcome Jason Walls on for Six and a Song the election edition!
