Inspiration struck Shane Nicholson in 2013. Recently divorced and after his first first date in many years the concept of Secondhand Man came about.
"I've never been good at talking about my feelings in the real world. I just do it through songs, that's always been the way I've done it. If I was maybe I wouldn't have been divorced!"
It travelled with him to Alice Springs where he spent time roaming remote parts with a pad and pen, writing songs that would become "Hell Breaks Loose", his ARIA award winning seventh studio album.
"I feel like that is a whole separate chapter of my career to everything that came before it... I fell like that (secondhand man) was the start of me getting really good at what I do."

Shane has recently released his new single ‘And You Will Have Your Way’.
