Sophie Vandebroek’s Biography

Sophie Vandebroek is the Chief Technology Officer of Xerox Corporation and the President of the Xerox Innovation Group.  In those roles, Sophie is responsible for Xerox’s global research labs with the mission of creating high-impact innovations to drive profitable revenue growth.

In previous roles at Xerox, Sophie has also served as Chief Engineer, VP of the Xerox Engineering Center, technical advisor to Xerox’s Chief Operating Officer, and Director of the Xerox Research Center of Canada.

In addition to her work at Xerox, Sophie also holds board membership positions at IDEXX Laboratories, a diagnostic and information solutions provider for health and water quality, and Analogic, a medical imaging and aviation security organization.  She is also a fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, and serves on the advisory council of the dean of Engineering at MIT.

Sophie earned her master’s degree in electro-mechanical engineering from the University of Leuven in Belgium, and earned her Ph.D in electrical engineering from Cornell University.
