Today - A $1 million grant program for local companies involved in entertainment, lodging, tourism and the food and beverage industry will begin in January. It’ll be using American Rescue Plan Act funds approved by Richland County commissioners. The grants, ranging from $10,000 to $30,000, will be administered through a program operated by the Richland Area Chamber & Economic Development to benefit companies and nonprofits impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Later, the Knox County teen who went missing December 6th was found Tuesday in southern Ohio, according to a press release from the Knox County Sheriff's Office. Alyssa Wood, 14, of Mount Vernon, was located in Jackson County, more than two hours south of her hometown.
