Today - On Friday July 11, 1969, Theodore John Conrad pulled off one of the biggest bank robberies in Cleveland history. The case remained cold until just this past week when United States Marshals from Cleveland traveled to Boston, Massachusetts and positively identified Thomas Randele of Massachusetts as the fictitious name of Theodore Conrad.
Also, the 911 phone line in Knox County has gone down twice in the last few weeks. The reason why? On Nov. 5 and Oct. 16, CenturyLink — the provider the county uses for its emergency lines — had area outages.
