Today -Andrew Keller was just introduced as the first-ever Richland County administrator, the 35-year-old will now get hands-on experience in helping run a local government. He believes local government is the bedrock of the nation's democracy. Keller, an attorney who spent the last decade in the Richland County Prosecutor's Office, was one of two hires announced by county commissioners.
Also, Ashland City Schools is developing a district-wide mobile app for students, teachers, parents and community members after seeing success from the same app geared for the high school. Ben Spieldenner, the district’s director of tech integration and innovation, said he’d like the app to be available for download by January, after winter break.
