Lee Spencer is a former Royal Marine who has completed three operational tours of Afghanistan. In 2014 he lost his leg helping a motorist and has since rowed 3000 miles across the Atlantic with four other injured veterans, and became the first physically disabled to row from mainland Europe to Mainland South America, beating the able bodied record by 36 days.
